Prayer Flags

Buddhist Prayer Flags are used for protection, to increase wealth, happiness and good fortune. Typically they are in set of five. Each flag has a prayer printed on it and is one of the five colors that represent the five elements. Blue/sky and space. White/air and wind. Red/fire. Green/water. Yellow/earth. The Windhorse or Lungta is often printed on prayer flags. He carries benevolent prayers for all sentient beings through the heavens.
